capital campaign  (2019-2021)

Founded in 1973, we have been an innovative center since our inception. Our founders’ vision was a place that would meet the needs of the Latino and immigrant community. We have continued to grow to support and empower our community and the time has come for our next leap of faith and courageous expansion. Our “El Sueño” Campaign is the plan to bring the vision of our founders and the dreams of our families into focus for the next fifty years.

Whats Next? We often get asked, “what will we do in our new building?” Over the past two years we held listening sessions with our families, surveyed community leaders, collaborated with our board and staff, and engaged local leaders around our future. The board and staff of La Casa are proud to release “Vision 2021 & Beyond: A Strategic Plan for La Casa."

La Casa de Amistad, since its founding, has always transformed and grown programming to meet the needs of our community. From launching advocacy campaigns to starting identification programs throughout the region, our center has done what the community has asked and needed of us. This plan has six focus areas that will guide our work with our community for years to come. As La Casa de Amistad approaches our 50th anniversary, we ask that you join us in this work as we look forward to our next 50 years.
