COVID-19 Vaccine Clinics
La Casa de Amistad is a proud recipient of Indiana Department of Health funding the Centers for Disease Control COVID-19 outreach initiative "Indiana Together We Will." Our goals are to 1) provide easy access to COVID-19 vaccines and testing in a supportive, bilingual environment and 2) disseminate quality, science-based information to the Latino community through radio, billboard, and social media advertising. La Casa de Amistad offers on-site COVID-19 vaccine and testing clinics 1-2 times each month that are free and open to the public. Health professionals are available to answer questions and administer the test and vaccines for people ages 5 and up. We offer both doses of the vaccine and all boosters in both Moderna and Pfizer. Vaccine clinics are made possible through generous support of Indiana Department of Health through the Indiana Together We Will initiative. We are also grateful for our clinical partners from Saint Joseph Health System and Beacon Health System who work to make these services possible. At this moment in time, the vaccine clinic is the only health service we offer. We are working on ways to expand outreach into this space. Our most immediate next needs is on bilingual mental health for immigrant families. |
