Located in South Bend’s South Side, La Casa de Amistad serves as a welcoming space for community events. The center offers affordable rental options, including special rates for nonprofits.
bartkus-woo family community roomHost your next meeting or workshop in the Bartkus-Woo Family Community Room! This inviting space seats up to 16 guests and includes tables, chairs, a TV, and a sink. This room is ideal for small group trainings or community sessions.
1st source foundation empowerment centerThe Empowerment Center offers a spacious and welcoming environment for groups of up to 50 people. Featuring tables, chairs, two TVs, and a full kitchen, this versatile space is ideal for classes, trainings, and presentations. Rates vary based on kitchen use, making it a flexible option for both professional and community gatherings.

intercambio express torres family roomWelcome your group into the Intercambio Express–Torres Family Room, a bright and flexible space that comfortably fits up to 25 people. With tables, chairs, a TV, and a whiteboard, it’s the perfect setting for classes, trainings, and small conferences
pfeil family zocaloThe Zocalo is La Casa’s largest and most versatile event space, accommodating up to 200 guests. With flexible seating, round and rectangular tables, bistro tables, two 75” TVs, and a full sound system with microphone, it’s perfect for fairs, trainings, presentations, and large community events. Rates vary based on your desired room setup, ensuring the space fits your vision perfectly.

Event Appropriateness
Community space rental is available to organizations that include corporations, nonprofits, foundations, arts organizations, community organizations, universities and schools. All nonprofit organizations will be asked to present documenatation of their 501(c)(3) status before completing a rental agreement to qualify for a discounted rate. Liability insurance will be discussed as needed. La Casa de Amistad will not rent out the community spaces for private parties such as weddings, quinceañeras, birthday parties, etc.
