Internships

Student Internships are often available which compliment both agency needs, and student learning objectives.Student Interns assist the agency’s mission by providing hands-on assistance to the staff responsible for the numerous programs which help so many individuals, in so many different ways, in our service area.

Types of Internships that may be available:

  1. Academic Credit

Internship Benefits:

  1. Provides resume building, on-the-job training, and hands-on experience

Times of Internships:

  1. Hourly
  2. During one or more semesters
  3. Other, as long as it fits both the program’s and the student’s schedule

If a student is interested in an Internship as a volunteer opportunity, we will have the student talk with the Volunteer Program for placement as a volunteer, as the two are separate programs.
