We would like to update the community on changes to our team at La Casa de Amistad. We are excited about the new changes and what the future holds for our team.
First, we want to welcome Dalila Huerta. She is the new Assistant Youth Programs Coordinator and will be working full time to support all of our youth programs. She previously worked at the Snite Museum at the University of Notre Dame and partnered with us on many events. She is a great new addition to the team. She started last week and has jumped right in working with our Yo Puedo Leer, Crece and Adelante programs and will be an essential part the planning of our summer programs.
We also welcome Isabel Bradley as a new Programming Assistant to support our office staff. She is a recent IU Bloomington grad who studied extensively in Latin America. She jumped right in last week and got to experience the fast pace changing environment of working for a non-for-profit. She will help us give much needed support at the front desk, with SB ID, some immigration program support and other administrative assistance needed for the great work we do in the office.
It is a pleasure that we promote and increase the development work of Juan Constantino. He joined us last summer as a Programming Assistant and now he is our Development Coordinator. Don’t worry he will still be supporting programs like Digital Assistance, SB ID and much more. Juan’s skills and desire to work on development, and our needs for resources, will move us forward to do much more for our community.
Please congratulate these individuals for jumping in and helping make our community stronger through the work of La Casa de Amistad. For a full roster of our team check out Team Members page.
